Becoming a fan favourite at live shows over the years, ‘Home’ has been ‘tailing the red lights’ on its journey to release, with many magical moments singing it together with audiences, it has now found a whole new level of meaning to sing and think of my wife and our little boy (7 months).

The original band session (guitar, bass and drums) was recorded at Rockfield Studios back in 2018, and for one reason or another it never made its way to being released. Throughout last year (2025) ‘Home’ grew into a true fan favourite, infectiously sung by all who joined in, culminating in a wonderful change in how my own lyrics now resonated with me when playing it live at ‘my first show back’ after our boy arrived in the autumn.

Since then, I have used every spare moment to get the song finished, adding fresh vocals, piano and even some saxophone! A labour of love, finding the patience and discipline to give the song the time it needed and my boy the time he needs from me as a new dad.
